The OptimasMax platform allows your provider to choose from several advanced technologies depending on what your skin needs most. These include Fusion Light for laser hair reduction, Lumecca Peak for pigmentation and redness, Morpheus8 for radiofrequency microneedling and skin tightening, and Vasculaze for certain vascular concerns.

Comfort during treatment

Your comfort during treatment is always an important part of the experience. For many OptimasMax procedures, you may choose to use Pro Nox if you would like additional relaxation or pain relief during treatment.

Pro Nox is a patient controlled system that delivers a 50/50 mixture of nitrous oxide and oxygen. You remain awake and fully aware throughout the procedure while being able to manage discomfort as needed. The effects wear off quickly, which means you can usually return to normal activities shortly after treatment.

For Morpheus8 treatments, topical numbing gel is typically applied before the procedure. When deeper body treatments are performed with Morpheus8 Burst Deep, lidocaine injections may also be used to improve comfort during the session.

Laser hair reduction Fusion Light uses targeted laser energy to reduce unwanted hair by heating and disabling the hair follicle while it is in its active growth phase. This process gradually reduces the ability of the follicle to produce new hair over time. Laser hair reduction can be helpful if you are tired of shaving, waxing, or dealing with frequent irritation from traditional hair removal methods. Common treatment areas include the underarms, legs, arms, bikini area, back, chest, and certain areas of the face. Most treatment plans include a series of sessions spaced several weeks apart. This timing allows the laser to target hair follicles during their active growth cycles. Rebekah Ross has been a Registered Nurse for 15 years. Her first 3 years of nursing were spent at Mercy Health Saint Mary’s taking care of elderly, cardiovascular, and kidney transplant patients. In 2014, she made the move to work in outpatient surgery at the same hospital. The main focus of that outpatient surgery center was breast cancer and reconstructive surgery.

Rebekah worked with these patients in all areas of surgery including pre-op, operating room, and post-op. She took a break for a couple years for her family, and then started working at Partners in Plastic Surgery. You can find her in the operating room following her patients through the entire surgery process from start to finish.

She truly loves this because she can really focus on her patient and give them her full attention. Having the same nurse throughout their surgery day makes them feel more comfortable and at ease.
