I would like to share my experience with Dr. Hammond at partners in plastic surgery Grand Rapids, Michigan. I came to talk to Dr Hammond with severe capsular contraction that I had had for over 30 years.

My breasts were painful and hardest rocks, and disfigured I didn’t think anyone would be able to help me so I waited all that time.. I did my research and even other plastic surgery places as the one in Ann Arbor said the person I want to go to is Dr. Hammond he specializes in breast revision and he’s very very good at it.

They told me not to take anyone else but him. And they were right.!! I only have 3 mm of breast tissue would be easy to tear or feel the implant and he carefully took his time and was able to get out the previous ones so hardened and old and was able to graft fat around the new implant so they felt more natural and not like feeling the implant.

I had such great great care.

I cannot even express it to you. He really cared that I have had to suffered with that for so long because they hurt. They were so severely unnatural, and hard that my grandchildren would instinctively go to hug me and then back away and look at me with a frown and my grown children wouldn’t even give me a hug. Because I would just get a pat on the back because I had these rocks as breasts. I had pretty much lost hope until I came across Dr. Hammond and his experience in breast revision. It is truly amazing how he was able to give me natural soft breasts, which I haven’t had in over 30 years.

I can hug my grandchildren and my family. I can look natural when I wear clothes. The other ones were hard and disfigured and it’s truly changed my life and I am so very very thankful for his expertise his care to help me.. If there’s anyone out there who needs revision or just breast implants, he truly is the best!

With over a decade of experience, Katy brings a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to every case. Known for her attention to detail and intuitive care, she prioritizes both clinical excellence and patient comfort.

Katelyn is an experienced Aesthetic Nurse Injector with 14 years of nursing experience, the majority of which has been spent in the pediatric emergency department. For the past three years, Katelyn has specialized in aesthetic medicine and is certified in both neurotoxins and dermal fillers. She is known for her refined technique and artistic eye, focusing on subtle, natural-looking results that enhance each patient’s unique features. With more than 25 years of healthcare experience, she oversees budgeting and financial performance, revenue cycle management, human resources, compliance, vendor negotiations, marketing initiatives, and technology integration.

Tonya works closely with physicians and staff to refine workflows, strengthen internal policies, and implement systems that support both efficiency and long-term sustainability.

Her leadership style is hands-on, data-driven, and solutions-focused, with a focus on strengthening systems, communication, and team effectiveness. She is deeply engaged in process improvement and operational strategy, ensuring that the practice delivers a seamless and elevated patient experience.

Earlier in her career, Tonya spent over two decades at Lacks Cancer Center supporting breast oncology care—an experience that continues to shape her patient-centered perspective and commitment to compassionate service.

Registered Nurse - Surgical Center

Rebekah Ross has been a Registered Nurse for 15 years. Her first 3 years of nursing were spent at Mercy Health Saint Mary’s taking care of elderly, cardiovascular, and kidney transplant patients. In 2014, she made the move to work in outpatient surgery at the same hospital. The main focus of that outpatient surgery center was breast cancer and reconstructive surgery.

Rebekah worked with these patients in all areas of surgery including pre-op, operating room, and post-op. She took a break for a couple years for her family, and then started working at Partners in Plastic Surgery. You can find her in the operating room following her patients through the entire surgery process from start to finish.

She truly loves this because she can really focus on her patient and give them her full attention. Having the same nurse throughout their surgery day makes them feel more comfortable and at ease.

Tracie has worked as a Surgery Scheduler at Partners in Plastic Surgery for over 15 years coordinating surgical procedures with accuracy, efficiency, and care. From coordinating operating room availability and managing provider calendars to confirming pre-operative requirements, she carefully oversees every detail to help procedures stay on track.

Dawn Borreson is a Registered Nurse with over four decades of experience, with 12 of those years being in aesthetics. She completed, with honors, her Bachelors and Masters Degrees in nursing through University of Detroit Mercy and has achieved numerous nursing certifications and awards.

Dawn’s professionalism and attention to detail contribute to her patients' goals of looking their best. Dawn has extensive training in dermal fillers, neurotoxins (Botox/Dysport), lasers and advanced training in biostimulators.
