*This 40 year old woman had lost over 50 lbs. She presented to our office to discuss body contouring. Her concerns were that her breasts had lost their fullness and she had an excess of skin on her abdomen. She had a lengthy discussion with her surgeon and a surgical plan was drawn up. Both areas of concern would be addressed with two very common procedures. A breast augmentation using smooth round gel implants would very easily fill up the tissue loss in her breasts. A full abdominoplasty would remove the excess skin on her abdomen and give her abdomen a smooth, firm contour. And both procedures could be done at the same time as an out patient in our surgical suite. Plans were made and a surgical date was chosen. Her implants are smooth round gel, volume 375cc, projection moderate plus profile. They were placed under her pec muscles using an inframmary fold approach. Her abdominoplasty went as planned with a slimming result that made her very happy. She is now eight months out from her surgical procedure, is very proud of her new shape and has been out shopping for bikinis!
