Earlobe Gauge Repair

This is a young gentleman who had ear gauging with progressively larger discs. He presented to our office to discuss what would be involved if he wanted his earlobes repaired. He found out that it could be easily done. With oral sedation and local anesthetic his surgeon carefully excised the excess skin and reconstructed his earlobes to their pre-gauging appearance. He had the procedure just seven weeks ago so his scars are still red. It will take six months to a year before they lighten completely. However, he is very happy with the result and his overall experience with his surgeon and the staff at Partners in Plastic Surgery.

This young man had a mild earlobe deformity due to ear gauging. A fairly simple repair can be done as an out patient with great success. These photos show him only three weeks after his repair, soon his scars will be barely visible.
