*This 38 year old felt that her breasts appeared under filled. She presented to our office to discuss both the size of her breasts and the size of her areolas. After talking with her surgeon she decided that a peri-areolar aug-pexy would be the way to go. The small amount of skin removed from around her areola would both reduce the size of her areola and give her breasts a small lift. Moderate sized smooth round gel breast implants would give her breasts the added volume that she desired. She had a slight breast volume asymmetry so a 325 cc implant was used for her right breast and a 350 cc for her left. The implants had a moderate plus projection and were placed under the pec muscle. Here she is at nine month out from her bilateral mastopexy/augmentation. She is very happy with her post-operative appearance.
