* This woman had a left breast cancer that was treatable by lumpectomy. Having more skin than breast tissue provided the perfect scenario to incorporate a breast lift into the picture. Through a standard short scar breast lift skin excision pattern, the general surgeon did the lumpectomy. Immediately following the lumpectomy our surgeon shaped the remaining breast tissue and skin as she would if she were doing a standard breast lift. A breast lift was also performed on the opposite breast for symmetry. To add a little more volume, fat grafting was added to each breast. Using the latest techniques available today, an aesthetic outcome was achieved rather than a defect in a breast and resulting asymmetry.
