*This 33 year old woman presented to us with both a breast asymmetry and breasts that were too large for her. Her surgeon carefully explained the surgical procedure which would serve her best. As an out patient a SPAIR breast reduction was done taking off more tissue on her right breast (640 gms) than on her left (440 gms). The one aspect of her asymmetry remains. If you look closely at the width of her breasts you can see that the right side is still a little more narrow than the left. This is something that surgery cannot change. The native skin envelope is what it is. However, the difference is subtle and over-all she is more symmetric than she was before. Here she is at only 6 weeks out from her surgery with a great start to a beautiful result!
