*This 57 year old woman had extra skin and loss of abdominal wall competency after numerous pregnancies. She also had a vertical scar on her abdomen that she did not like. She and her physician discussed a surgical plan. A tummy tuck including muscle wall plication and revision of the vertical scar which also helped to tighten up the lax skin, accomplished her goals. The result was a restoration of her abdominal wall and a smooth and firm appearance to her skin.
