*This young mother was in great shape. Her concern was that she could not get her abdomen back in shape after her pregnancies. No matter how much she exercized she could not regain her abdominal wall competency. She did not have excess fat that needed removing and very little excess skin for that matter so her surgeon removed a small wedge of skin from her lower abdomen and used this incision to gain access to her abdominal wall. Through this incision her entire abdominal wall was plicated with suture. So little skin was removed that the umbilical float method was used instead of cutting her belly button free. Her incision was kept low on her abdomen to avoid any visibility. Her result is most obvious in looking at the lateral (side) views. Theses photos show her at six weeks post-op . Her incision will lighten with time. This was the perfect solution for this slim mother,
