*After losing over 80 lbs, this young mother was interested in having re-juvenation her abdomen. Getting rid of her excess skin was her first goal, her second goal was restoration of her abdominal wall competency. She was able to achieve both with what we call an “extended” tummy tuck. “Extended” simply refers to carrying the incision further out laterally on each side to make sure that the skin is excised in a way that ensures smooth contours. Her post-operative views show her at seven months out from her procedure with a beautiful and smooth abdominal contour.
