Breast Lift

This 29 year old woman was happy with the volume of her breasts. She did not like the “sagginess” of her breasts and fullness near her axilla area. She was the perfect candidate for a circumvertical mastopexy, or breast lift. Reducing the axillary fullness was easily treated by traditional liposuction. Her breast lift was achieved by removing skin around her nipple and areola along with a wedge of skin underneath her breast. This is a fairly straight forward outpatient procedure with a remarkable change in the appearance and shape of the breasts. Her post-operative photo shows her at six months out from her bilateral breast lift.

Case #558

This 38 year old woman presented to our office to discuss her options for improving the aesthetic appearance of her breasts. The discussion was centered on having a breast lift alone or a breast lift with a breast implant. Both options were discussed at length. She went home to think about her options and decided to go with the breast lift alone. A simple skin only breast lift was done using an incision that went around her areola, then curved down to her inframmary fold. She is now six months out from her outpatient procedure with a very pretty breast shape. Her scars will lighten as time goes on only improving her aesthetic outcome.
