*This 45 year old woman had very heavy breasts and extreme ptosis. Her heavy tissue caused pain in her back, neck and shoulders, as well as an irritating rash under her breasts that needed to treated with fungal creams & powders. The appearance of her breasts bothered her as well . She wanted her breasts to be smaller and lifted not only for relief from her symptoms but to feel better about her appliance. All of these concerns brought her to our office for a consult regarding surgical breast reduction. She learned that her goals could be accomplished with an out patient procedure with limited recovery time. She made the decision to go ahead with the surgical plan. She was amazed at the relief from her symptoms and ability to fit into her clothes. She also felt more youthful and confident in her appearance.
