The American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS)

Dr. Dennis Hammond and Dr. Andrea Van Pelt are diplomates of the American Board of Plastic Surgery.”The mission of the ABPS is to promote safe, ethical, efficacious plastic surgery to the public by maintaining high standards for the education, examination, certification and recertification of plastic surgeons as specialists and subspecialists.”

American College of Surgeons (ACS)

Dr. Hammond is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. “The ACS is a scientific and educational association of surgeons that was founded in 1913 to improve the quality of care for the surgical patient by setting high standards for surgical education and practice.”

American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS)

They offer access to information that will empower visitors to make educated decisions about their beauty and connect them with qualified, board-certified plastic surgeons.

Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons (CSPS)

Dr. Hammond is an honorary member of the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons. “A Canadian plastic surgeon is a well-trained, qualified specialist who has passed the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons examinations and is certified to practice Plastic Surgery. The Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons (CSPS) and the Canadian Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery are the Canadian organizations to which practicing plastic surgeons belong. Education is an important part of the activity of these organizations both to the membership and the general public.”
