This woman was unhappy with excess skin on her abdomen especially in relation to previous abdominal surgery. The scarring had tethered the skin on the right side creating an asymmetrical over hanging skin fold. Her surgeon knew that a tummy tuck would resolve her concerns. She suggested excision and tightening of her skin as well as performing muscle plication along the midline to give her a slimming effect.
