* This confident, attractive woman was not happy with the appearance of her nose. She felt like it looked too big and she did not like the dorsal hump. She also felt like it looked too long and the tip was hanging down too much. She had an acute nasolabial angle–the angle between the nose and the upper lip, as seen in the profile view. It was about 90 degrees, which makes the nose appear more masculine, and also makes the nose appear longer than it actually is. A more feminine nasolabial angle is between 100-110 degrees. Her rhinoplasty consisted of reducing the dorsal hump, and elevating/refining the tip of her nose to make it look more feminine and in better proportion to her face. Results are shown approximately 7 months post-op. She is thrilled with her results and thinks her nose looks super cute and very natural!!
