*This 19 year old young woman presented to our office with a breast asymmetry due to a congenital breast deformity called tuberous breast deformity. Her right breast was constricted peripherally and she had herniation of tissue in her nipple-areolar complex making it appear “puffy”. To correct the breast asymmetry her surgeon used two different sizes of saline filled implants. The right implant was filled to 375 cc and the left 175cc. Both implants were placed under the muscle using an inframmary fold incision. The nipple-areolar complex on each breast was then cut uniformly to achieve symmetry. She is now eight months out from her procedure with a very nice correction of her breast asymmetry. She states she feels more confident with her beautifully shaped and symmetric breasts.
