Procedures Performed: Tissue Expander/Implant Breast Reconstruction

* Here is another woman who had bilateral skin sparing mastectomies with immediate tissue expander breast reconstruction. Her right nipple and areola had to be removed and reconstructed as well, her left nipple and areola are her own. Four months after her mastectomies and initial reconstruction her tissue expanders were replaced with permanent breast implants. The implants chosen for her were anatomically shaped silicone gel implants. Fat was also added to the mastectomy flaps to soften the contours and fill in any indentations under the skin. She is now ten months out from her last surgical procedure. She has a very pretty and natural looking bust line.
