* After a diagnosis of breast cancer, this woman decided to have her breasts reconstructed at the same time she had her mastectomies. She underwent skin sparing mastectomies, with immediate insertion of tissue expanders. A breast lift was incorporated into the surgical plan. Seven months later, her expanders were replaced with smooth round silicone gel breast implants. She also had some fat grafted into the superior aspect of each breast to soften the contours of the breasts. She is now one year out from her last surgical procedure with a very natural looking breast reconstruction.
