* Excess skin on the upper eyelids can make one appear tired and impair ones vision. That was the case for this woman in her 50’s. Removal of the skin is not difficult, the tricky part is deciding how much skin to remove. The procedure bears minimum discomfort and requires only 5-7 days down time (mostly to allow for the resolution of bruising and swelling). It can also be done with IV sedation or local anesthesia negating the need for general anesthesia. The post op views show her at only five weeks after her procedure. The results can be beneficial and aesthetically pleasing.
