*Loss of abdominal wall competency was the first observation when this 49 year old’s surgeon examined her for a possible abdominoplasty. It is a common occurrence after the birth of children, however it does vary in degree from one woman to another. The surgical plan was for a standard abdominoplasty , removing excess stretched out skin and tightening up her abdominal wall. She did not need any liposuction to her abdomen, but her posterior hips were treated. At nine months out from surgery, she has a beautiful restoration of her figure with the biggest change in her abdominal wall.
