* This tiny 41 year old woman had a previous breast augmentation many years before her consult with one of our surgeons. She had a significant capsular contracture which was distorting the look, shape and feel of her breasts. Her current implants were saline filled. Her surgeon did a capsulotomy (a procedure where one scores the capsule with a surgical knife) on each breast capsule and then replaced her implants with slightly larger smooth round gel implants with a moderate plus profile. This procedure can be done as an out patient with minimal recovery. However, you can see the significant difference the procedure can have as you look at the before and after photos.
