*Here is a 67 year old woman who did not like the appearance of her abdomen. She had a pretty waistline, but had excess skin and fat in her lower abdomen. However her biggest problem was the loss of her abdominal wall competency which was visible in clothing and made it hard to find clothing to fit her properly. After a thorough discussion with her surgeon, she decided to go ahead with a full abdominoplasty with particular attention to tightening up her abdominal wall. In addition she had liposuction to her abdominal wall and her posterior hips. Her incision had to be carried out laterally on her abdominal wall to prevent notches at the ends of the scar. She is shown here at 5 months after her procedure and she is thrilled with her result.
