*This is a 34 year old gentleman who did not like the excess skin and tissue on his chest wall. He presented to our office to have a discussion regarding surgical options to treat this condition called “gynecomastia”. His surgeon discussed the need for removal of the excess tissue and excess skin in his case. It was explained to him that he would have incisions on his chest wall to remove the excess skin. As an out-patient, the procedure was done as planned. These photos show an early 2 month result which explains the reddened scars. It will take about 6-10 more months for his scars to fade. However, he is very happy with the change in his chest wall contour and was very pleased with his decision to proceed with the procedure!
