* Here is a 52 year old woman who presented with a right breast cancer. She had a family history of breast cancer as well so she decided to have bilateral mastectomies and immediate breast reconstruction. She had bilateral skin & nipple sparing mastectomies and immediate tissue expander breast reconstruction. Four months later her expanders were removed, smooth round moderate profile gel implants with a 450cc volume were put in place and fat grafting was done to smooth out the contours of her breasts. These photos show her at only 6 weeks after her 2nd surgery. She is very happy with her decision to go ahead with breast reconstruction and the method that she and her surgeon chose!
